Major General Tariq Qaddus, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) was commissioned in an Infantry Regiment and later joined the Intelligence Corps. The General officer had an illustrious career during which he gained extensive experience in administration, management and intelligence both                                                                      at home and abroad in very testing and demanding environment.

He is a graduate of Command and Staff College Quetta, National Defence University Pakistan, National Defence University Washington DC USA, Defence Intelligence Agency University USA and Joint Intelligence School UK. He is also an Alumni of Kings College London and University of Chicago, USA. He also holds Masters Degrees in War and Strategic Studies and International Counter Terrorism from College of                                                                            International security affairs, NDU Washington DC, USA. 

The General Officer served on very important assignments and contributed extensively at national level in formulation of polices and implementation of relevant strategies. The General Officer has served on a variety of Command and Staff appointments during his career                                                that provided him with rich experience of handling very sensitive operational and administrative issues. 

                                          The General officer is extensively travelled and enjoys golfing, hiking, swimming and reading.
