General Naseer is the Director of Education in Fauji Foundation and serves as the board member on the
Board of Directors for Fauji Foundation and FonGrow. Along with this, he is also on the board of Fauji
Cement, Daharki Power Holdings Limited, and Mari Petroleum.

In 1983, he received a commission in the Frontier Force’s First (Self-Propelled) Medium Artillery
Regiment. He holds degrees from the National Defence University in Islamabad, the Command and Staff
College in Quetta, the French War College, the US Army War College, and the School of Artillery in
Nowshera. He holds an M. Phil in Public Policy and Strategic Security Management in addition to three
master’s degrees.

He has held a number of prestigious Command, Staff, and Instructional positions throughout his
distinguished military career, including GSO-III and BM of Infantry Brigades, Command of two Self-Propelled
Artillery Regiments, and Directing Staff at Command & Staff College Quetta and National
Defence University Islamabad. Additionally, he had a crucial post in the Military Operations Directorate
at GHQ and oversaw the leadership of an infantry brigade and a division artillery during the South
Waziristan operation Al-Mizan. Later, after being promoted to the rank of Major General, he held the
positions of Chief of Staff at HQ Southern Command, Infantry Division Commander, and Director
General Operations and Advisor at Joint Staff Headquarters.

General Ali has extensive experience carrying out tasks related to Strategic Management, Corporate
Governance, Productivity Enhancement, Academic Research & Policy Development, Operational and
Logistic Planning, Analytical Optimization, Training & Capacity-Building, and Monitoring & Evaluation. He
also has broad exposure to Strategic Stability & Security issues.
